The Paragon Sales Solutions team had a fantastic day on Wednesday 8th November delivering a talk on behalf of Leicester Business Festival.

The talk, hosted at Hotel Brooklyn, was entitled ‘How to Utilise Telemarketing as a Modern Day Sales Tool’, and was well attended by the Leicestershire business community.

Managing Director of Paragon Sales Solutions, Rob Spence, commented:


“It was fantastic to finally do something with the Leicester Business Festival, and I am so glad that my colleague, Connor van Dijk was able to join me! We have been long term admirers of the festival, and the benefit it brings to businesses not just in Leicester, but also beyond.

We were proud to welcome over ten business owners to the talk, and the general feedback was very positive, with many people commenting on how well the event ran.

Local financial advisor, James Price, attended, and said this:

“Although I have known Rob and the Paragon Sales Solutions team for a long-time, it was the first time I have the chance to truly learn about telemarketing, and how it can still be used in this day and age. I will certainly be putting some of the things I learned into good practice!”

The talk itself was broken down into various segments, including focussing on how telemarketing can be used in a sales process, but also how to handle calls on a molecular level.

Riya Sharma, of Paragon, said this:

“My role within Paragon is more on our digital marketing side, so I do not get overly involved in telemarketing, but I was able to learn a lot about telemarketing and I feel more at ease for if I was to make outbound telesales!”

The Leicester Business Festival, an annual two-week extravaganza of business activities, unfolds throughout Leicester and Leicestershire in the fall season.
