A History & Background

FRESHnetworking first started life as, ‘The Leicestershire Business Network Group’, and was founded in 2019 by Rob Spence, with the intention of bringing together business owners, entrepreneurs and professionals to form and solidify positive business relationships.

Our Ethos

We believe that networking should be relaxed, informal and fresh. We don’t like to force people to bring guests, or force referrals; we want people to simply be themselves, and to network with like-minded individuals in a genuine and honest manner. 

Our Events

Alongside our popular Facebook Group, we host monthly face to face meetings that are dotted across all of Leicestershire. We tend to look for fantastic venues that offer wonderful food, which helps to set the scene for fantastic networking and relationship developing opportunities.

The Facebook Group

Alongside our physical events, there is a free to join Facebook Group which helps to tie our group together.
 
There is no membership fee for the FRESHnetworking Group, and no need to commit to either the group or the events.
 
The Facebook Group has in excess of 1600 members; all of whom own or are part of a Leicestershire business.
 
The intention of the group is to give you the opportunity to network and to build relationships with the people you have either met at one of our events, or are likely too. With minimal rules, you can advertise, post, and share content as much or as little as you wish.

Venues and Events

We love nothing more than working with local venues to host our networking events, as it is the venues that make our events truly stand out.

Our events attract on average 30-35 attendees per event, and is always a great way to bring business owners and professionals into your venue; giving you the chance to show off your hospitality offerings, alongside your business as a whole.

Upcoming Events at Paragon Creative Studios

FRESHnetworking is hosting monthly networking events at Paragon Creative Studios, a bright, open, collaborative hub in Countesthorpe, Leicestershire.
 
You can expect, a room full of business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals to network with, plenty of drinks, and importantly fun.
 
Join us on Tuesday 13th May for our next networking event. If you can’t make that date, our next event will be on Tuesday 10th June.

Charity of the Year

We are thrilled to announce our charity of the year is the Grace Foundation.
 
The Grace Foundation are working to build partnerships with Trusts, Schools and Businesses in Leicestershire to help develop character and values, improve student well-being and advance student outcomes.
 
 As our Charity of The Year, we provide free networking tickets to colleagues of the Grace Foundation, and pledge to fundraise to this amazing cause.
